Windows and doors have two operations: open and close. It's irritating when they can't do that. For the 2004.5-2009 Dodge 2500 and 3500, there's a common failure of the harness that control those two functions of the rear doors. The flex piece where the door harness meets the b-pillar eventually cracks creating shorts in the circuit or open conditions as well.
